The central “Pick One Leave None” event in Croatia was held on June 14th, 2023 under the title “Visitors in an active role of Protection and Preservation of Mountains”.
The event was organized as a Presentation and panel discussion with the representatives of key stakeholders on the project (Public institution Medvednica Nature Park, Croatian Mountaineering Association, Posused-Vrapče city district council and Faculty of Forestry).
In close collaboration with the Croatian Mountaineering Association, Nature Protection Section, the event was particularly organized for targeted stakeholders – nature wardens, certified by the Croatian Mountaineering Association. The event was hosted by the Faculty of Forestry and Wood Technology University of Zagreb but also streamed live on the YouTube channel, and thus available to a wider public.

The invitation to the event has been disseminated publicly by all project partners through all the available media channels and email correspondence. The event was attended by 47 persons (32 via YouTube live stream and 15 in person) with representatives of 22 Mountaineering Clubs in Croatia, the Bosnian Mountaineering Association, 4 Public Institutions for National and Nature Parks in Croatia, members of the academic community and other interested public.

The PICK ONE LEAVE NONE event for Bosnia and Herzegovina was held on July 29, 2023 in Srebrenik, at the Mountain hut Lipici.
The event in North Macedonia took place on 23.07.2023 at the Mountaineering House in St. Papradiste
