The central PICK ONE LEAVE NONE event for Serbia was held on July 8, 2023 on Mountain Tara, at the Carobni breg Hotel.

This event was attended by 31 participants from Serbia and BiH, mostly from the border areas. The presentation was attended by representatives of mountaineering societies from Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, then the president of ERA (European Ramblers Association), representatives of the Mountaineering Association of Serbia, as well as representatives of the Nature Park Mokra Gora.

This event was organized with the aim of bringing the entire idea of the PICK ONE LEAVE NONE project as close as possible to the participants. Nenad Lecic, the project coordinator, presented the project, from the initial idea to all phases of project implementation.

Special emphasis was placed on the presentation of the adopted toolkit, which will be the basis for further implementation and dissemination of the project. The importance of spreading the PICK ONE LEAVE NONE idea was emphasized, as a very simple but effective way to ensure the sustainability of hiking trails. All those present showed great interest in the project and in spreading the project idea.

After the presentation, a hiking trip was organized in the surroundings of the Carobni breg hotel.
